TOMOTSUGU YAMAKAWA
Design Principal / Founder / First-class Registered Architect (Japan)
Tomotsugu Yamakawa is a Founding Principal of Tomo Yamakawa Design, holds Bachelor of Architecture degrees from Meiji University in Japan, graduating with honors in excellence design. After worked in Plantec Architects Tokyo and MADA s.p.a.m. Shanghai as chief architect for several international projects. He established own design firm, based on Shanghai, and started his practice that focus on Architecture and design, from large scale planning to graphic design. He established new platform cooperating with Japanese traditional craftsman “CORARE Artisans Japan Inc.” and produced new accommodation brand “BED AND CRAFT” as creative director. He was honored with “Good Design Award”, “Tokyo-Metro Ginza Line Station Design Competition Award” and more.
